Zinc & Plant Power Sunscreen

This sunscreen is carefully made with Chaga, which has a beneficial compound for giving your skin protection against free radical damage and aging, plus providing a melanin protection against the sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays.  It is also rich in Baobab, an oil that is wonderful for sun-damaged skin due to its rich composition of vitamins and essential fatty acids. It contains high levels of vitamin C, which is known for its antioxidant properties that help neutralize free radicals caused by sun exposure. Additionally, baobab oil is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which can help nourish and moisturize the skin, aiding in the recovery process.

Zinc Oxide provides a safe broad-spectrum shield for UVA & UVB rays and, unlike traditional chemical-based sun protection, won’t absorb into the skin or cause irritation. Organic Carrot seed, organic Grapeseed and organic Hemp oil have natural UV absorption abilities while organic Rosehip and organic Argan provide skin healing components.

Lavender, Chamomile and especially Frankincense add a super botanical power punch to the mix by reducing the appearance of long-term sun damage.  For best coverage, apply over Gaia Essentials’ Herbal Facial Cream or Lotion and repeat every couple of hours.
